opportunity

POS challenged Techline to design an office space and a break room for their creative department in a space previously used as warehouse storage. Techline's design team worked with POS to create a design that was both fun and functional.

solutions

Walking into POS's new workspace you know immediately this is no ordinary office. Bright Yellow, green, orange and blue cover walls. Blues circles cut into the grey/black carpet seem to bubble up out of one side of the room and disappear on the other. The works stations in the open office zigzag from the center of the room to the outside corners, framing the two reception office walls that jut into the workspace. Red doors lead you from one workspace to another. A floating cloud ceiling suspended from the black painted existing ceiling give the space a feeling of endless height. In the center workroom each sidewalls is accented by colored glass windows designed by Techline looking into the offices on either side. The paneled windows utilized multi-colored, textured and ribbed glass to give privacy to the offices on either side and add color and interest to each of the rooms. The ribbed glass was continued in the large windows in each of the manager's offices overlooking the open workspace to add light and keep the open feeling.

results

The new space has greatly improved POS's creative department's work environment reflecting their attitude and success.
